The popular Galway races 2014 will take place between the 28th of July and 3rd of August.During this time accommodation in Galway will be hard to come by and most places will be fully booked early.
For cheap accommodation during the races, there is a large number of hostels and cheap hotels on offer in Galway City.
Some of the best value hostels include – Kinlay hostel, snooze Hostel, Sleep zone hostel. Pre booking will more than likely be required for a stay during race week.
Cheap Hotels would include – Imperial Hotel, Victoria Hotel, Sathill hotel and Foster court Hotel.These hotels will be more expensive than the hostels but cheaper than many other hotels.
Al hostels and hotels in the City are close to taxis who can bring you to the race course ( 15 min drive ) and during the week there will also be shuttle buses running from certain locations through out Galway city centre.
